My favourite go-to shoe when I need to do a lot of running around in the office is my patent leather ballet flats. It’s also great for ladies who aren’t comfortable in high heels and those who are blessed with never-ending legs. Oxfords or Brogues

Perhaps if you’re daring enough, try to carry off a piece of menswear and do it with a pair of oxfords or brogues. A pair of these will instantly lift your trendiness level – make sure you soften the strong masculine look with a feminine silhouette.

If you think that you have to wear heels with those fab dressy wide-leg trousers think again. A charming lady in my building pulls off the wide-leg trousers look with a pair of leather loafers. While I’m all about taking risks when it comes to shoe colors, stick to neutral colors like patent black and navy, or suede tan and gray.

Regardless of the style of shoe you’re going for, your shoes should be clean, polished and scruff marks free so that your bosses and peers knows that you mean business.
